I've been a loyal Agoda customer for a while, but my recent experience with the Paulson Park hotel in Kochi was disappointing. Despite booking 2 AC rooms, we arrived late due to a traffic jam, only to find one of our rooms sold to someone else. Agoda prioritized the hotel over resolving the issue for us, leaving me disappointed and questioning their after-sales service.

Good Hotel Close to Ernakulam South (Junction) Railway Station

I have stayed at this hotel any a times in the last 2 decades, starting from 1993 onwards. Paulson Park's proximity to Ernakulam South (also known as Ernakulam Junction) Railway Station, makes it a convenient place to stay. It's hardly 3 minutes walk to the railway station. One can go to the railway station at any time, day or night. It's very safe. The restaurant also is very good. I like the Kulcha here, very much.

This is a budget hotel. Located a close proximity to the south Ernakulam railway station. Nearest metro station is Maharaja's College. Amenities and rooms are alright for the price paid. Sometimes the hotel may appear dull, but that's the style/theme they have gone for. You may consider this hotel if you dont have any other place.

Very worst experience.Today, I went to this hotel and they refused to give room if I book online through "TripAdvisor". Moreover,they forced me to book directly by saying that I cannot book online from there.

This is a pretty old hotel, but has modern amenities; the attractive part is that the rooms are very spacious and well furnished; restaurant also is good; reception lounge is not very spacious; car parking is limited; best attractions are (i) value for money (very economical) and (ii) very close to Ernakulam Junction; other important places of the city like the park, jos junction, shopping malls, Shipyard, central post office, temples are very close; central bus stand is two KMs away.
